Testimonials

"I have been buying from Miranda Caroligne for over ten years now, and every single piece is a work of art. I started out by bringing her stacks of tech t-shirts (conference swag, company logos, etc) which she would chop up and reimagine/recombine into one-of-a-kind garments. I have also bought plenty of Miranda's knit dresses, tops, skirts, and shrugs off the rack over the years, and they are some of the most comfortable, stylish and unique items in my wardrobe -- and since she tailors them to fit, they all look great. I get loads of comments and compliments any time I wear them out. Clothes come and go, but I've never gotten rid of anything by Miranda Caroligne."

“I chose to hire Miranda as a costumer for my choreographic work because her textile and clothing design is beautiful, environmentally sensitive, and thoughtful. Miranda is the first clothing designer I have worked with who has her own line of original clothes. Miranda understood what I needed and created costumes that brought together the best of her “look” and the function that I needed for dance and movement. I loved the collaboration with another artist who works in a medium (cloth) that I actually know very little about. She brought terrific expertise and at the same time, she was able to listen closely to the specific needs of an aerial dance company.”

“I've been a fan of Miranda's unique couture since her San Francisco atelier days. Soft textures, and mind-bending prints are sculpted into body-flattering shapes, with surprising cut-outs, asymmetry, and the occasional ruffle that invite the eyes to linger and initiate many a conversation. The materials are upcycled, so you can feel good about not contributing to more landfill waste. And of course, no one will be wearing the same outfit, because each one is truly original and hand-crafted with love by Miranda herself. Her pieces also hold up to challenging environments like festivals and are perfect for interpretive dances at sunrise and cozy naps in dusty places. When the party is over,  most of them can simply be thrown in the wash. What's not to love!”
